I always really appreciate it when Art Directors send you a hard copy of a magazine you have illustrated for them, especially when it comes from overseas. Philadelphia Magazine was kind enough to send me the current issue featuring my piece for Jason Sheehan’s ‘The Gastronaut’ column, looking at what Philly needs to be a great restaurant city. The points he raises and that I illustrated are late night hours, edible infill (linking great restaurant neighbourhoods together), Yakitori, an end to the tyranny of neighbourhood associations and Cuban restaurants.
